Nomination Meeting!

The University Rosedale Conservative EDA is pleased to announce that Karim Jivraj and Sabrina Zuniga have been accepted as candidates for the CPC nomination in this riding.

The Nomination Meeting will be held on Monday , April 20th, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM at Cody Hall, St. Paul’s Bloor Street, 227 Bloor Street East(see below for parking information).

Registrants will have to be able to prove identity and address. One piece that has photo and address or one piece that has photo plus one  that proves address

Although born in Hamilton, Karim grew up in Toronto. After graduating from the Toronto French School, he studied international law in France (Sorbonne, Sciences Po) and the US (Cornell). He previously worked in the international disputes department at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, the world’s largest litigation-only firm. Fluently bilingual,  having lived and worked in Toronto, Paris and New York, Karim brings a well-informed global perspective to federal issues. He is a true blue Tory, a card-carrying Conservative for over 11 years and has worked on 6 municipal, provincial and federal election campaigns.

Sabrina Zuniga is a successful independent small business person and a 20-year resident of the riding with many ties to the local community. She co-founded a private career college in Toronto and designed a language school.   She is board member of the University/Rosedale Riding Association  and a long-time Conservative.   She volunteers in the community,  sits on two non-profit boards and is a member of the Albany Club. She earned her PhD in Higher  Education from the University of Toronto. Sabrina is married with two children and her husband is a scientist & professor.

  2.  Street parking on Church Street,  on Ted Rogers Way, and on Hayden Street (one way, going east, park only on south side)
  3.  Manulife Building Parking  (across Bloor St. from St. Paul’s)
  4. Huntley Street Public Parking (under Greenwin Square)
